Karena memiliki kapasitas kerja yang lebih baik, SSD mampu meng-handle program lebih banyak yang akhirnya berdampak pada suhu. SSD cenderung memiliki suhu yang lebih rendah daripada HDD. Tentu saja ini berpengaruh pada keawetan laptop. Laptop yang cepat panas tentu lebih cepat rusak
